Rule systems, i guess is how you say it. People’s eyes seem to glaze over when I say that. I can’t tell if they’re bored or if it doesn’t make any sense.

Fruit that I pick off the plant and pop directly into my mouth!

Trick Daddy. Give that lupus hell, sweetie.
How do you see yourself in 40 years?
Around 6, the most magical thing in all the world to me was the plum satin caped mariachi-ish outfit of Zorros’ gay cousin, who was also Zorro, in Zorro the Gay Blade starring Richard Hamilton. At 10 I desperately wanted braids and a raincoat so I could dress as Boy George. By high school a video of a draggish singer doing the Time Warp seemed like a wormhole to a reality of freedom and goodness…Oh…90’s…
Lame to identify with a group to which you can never belong?
Or maybe it’s that a little gender ambiguity was the closest thing in suburban life to THE SHAMAN.
Anyhow, after college I spent a lot of time hanging out with gay men, going to gay men’s events, watching gay men’s porn. After a particular few months of deep immersion, i saw a man and woman kissing on the sidewalk near Dolores Park and my stomach jerked a bit at the unnaturalness of it. I was seriously stoked to have philosophical proof of the acculturated nature of anti-gay bias by achieving hetero-phobia. My best friend thought it was unhealthy.
This is prob why I didn’t date much in my 20’s. But all my future boyfriends were still in high school then anyway.
So you never really know what the future has in store.
What is your most treasured thing in life?
loved ones and buddies.
What gadget / object could you not live without?
Well, i SHOULD have a tiny machine that would keep me from putting my foot in my mouth, but obviously I do not own one.
How would you describe your style, aka uniform?
What was your first screen name or email address?
but more importantly, i also have the world’s most irritating url, m-a-r-i-a-h.com, as the result of a decision making disaster at my 2001 dot com job. I’ve got a lot of mixed feelings about having a website at all, so I try to make it as bad as possible.
What is your favorite color?
Colors are like the world’s great variety of beautiful men, to be appreciated each in their own special way.
What is your favorite shape?
All of them
Would you rather explore space or the deep sea?
If I had that kinda time on my hands, I would learn Arabic.
